AT & T Mobility Faces Lawsuit for Pregnancy Discrimination
Cohen & Malad, LLP along with Cohen Milstein and the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit against AT & T Mobility for discriminating against pregnant employees. The employees claim that the mobile phone company fired them unjustly for pregnancy-related absences, which is in direct violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The women both allege that they received demerits for being tardy or missing work due to medical needs related to their pregnancies.
“Cohen & Malad, LLP is honored to partner with the ACLU and Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll in this pregnancy discrimination class action against AT&T Mobility,” said Cohen & Malad, LLP attorney Lynn Toops.
