Bank of America Faces Lawsuit Over Improper Fees for Cryptocurrency Transactions
Bank of America is facing another lawsuit for allegedly charging improper banking fees to its customers. Credit card customers of the bank claim they have been charged improper “Foreign Transaction Fees” for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency transactions. The lawsuit alleges that since cryptocurrencies are not considered actual monetary instruments by banks and governments they should not be subject to the fees that Bank of America charges its customers.
