Indiana School for the Deaf Teacher Fired Following Sexual Abuse Charges
Jerry R. Claus, a teacher at the Indiana School for the Deaf, was fired from his position after school officials learned that Claus was arrested on two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor in Erie County, Ohio according to media reports. The charges stem from a report alleging he had sex with a young girl in 2005 when he was teaching in an Ohio school. Claus began working at the Indiana School for the Deaf in 2013.
