Chad J. Bradford is an attorney in Cohen & Malad, LLP’s personal injury practice, representing victims in medical malpractice-related matters.
Chad joined our firm with more than 20 years of prior medical malpractice law and negotiation experience in defense work. By litigating for physicians, nurses, hospitals, dentists and other healthcare providers, Chad brings valuable insight that benefits our clients.
His expertise includes representing defendant healthcare providers in jury trials, and in all phases of litigation including depositions, oral argument and administrative licensing hearings. Chad also litigated for healthcare providers in medical malpractice claims before both the Indiana Department of Insurance and Indiana State courts, as well as prepared numerous medical review panel submissions on behalf of clients in several different medical and dental specialties.
Chad’s earlier legal career involved providing legal counsel for a national healthcare liability insurance provider; through that work he was selected to serve on a national medical specialty advisory board.
Chad has been recognized multiple times as an Indiana Super Lawyer by Thompson Reuters for Personal Injury – Medical Malpractice. In 2017, he presented the ICLEF seminar “The New Medical Malpractice Act.”
Chad received his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and his B.A. from Indiana University, Bloomington. He and his wife of 22 years, Gina, have four children — all of whom keep the family very busy with sports activities.
