Lumber Liquidators Faces Class Action Lawsuit from Hoosiers Over Formaldehyde Exposure
Cohen & Malad, LLP filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all Indiana residents who purchased laminate wood flooring products manufactured in China and sold by Lumber Liquidators. The lawsuit alleges that Lumber Liquidators claimed that its laminate flooring products complied with strict formaldehyde emission standards set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). However, products labeled as CARB compliant and sold by Lumber Liquidators have been tested by third parties and found to emit excessive amounts of formaldehyde gas.
The lawsuit seeks to recover damages for all Hoosiers who purchased Chinese-made laminate flooring from Lumber Liquidators that did not meet CARB standards for formaldehyde emissions. Contact us for more information regarding this lawsuit.
