Sarah Starkey and TaKeena Thompson are Named as Leadership In Law Up and Coming Lawyers
Congratulations to our associates Sarah Starkey and TaKeena Thompson for being named to the Indiana Lawyer Leadership in Law Up and Coming Lawyers list. Both women were nominated for this award based on their dedication to the practice of law as well as their commitment to the Indianapolis community.
Sarah Starkey has worked hard to establish her family law practice at Cohen & Malad, LLP. She handles a wide array of matters from divorce and child custody to guardianship and parenting time issues. Sarah dedicates a significant amount of her time outside of the office serving as a Guardian ad Litem representing the interests of children in custody cases as well as providing pro bono legal services with the Neighborhood Christian Legal clinic.
TaKeena Thompson is a tough litigator who represents clients in medical malpractice claims, insurance coverage litigation, and personal injury/product liability cases. Outside of her litigation work for Cohen & Malad, LLP, Thompson also serves on the Board of Directors for Reach for Youth, has been named the interim President for the Marion County Bar Association, and volunteers her time with Dress for Success as a personal shopper.
