TD Bank Faces Class Action for Insufficient Funds Fees
US District Court Judge Valerie Caproni of the Southern District of New York ruled a class action lawsuit against TD Bank can continue. Cohen & Malad, LLP filed the class action against TD Bank of behalf of customers who claim the bank improperly charged multiple insufficient funds fees on a single item. Class certification allows this lawsuit to move forward in an effort to recover damages for customers.
