Partner TaKeena Thompson is helping to represent hundreds of women who used Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Powder and Shower to Shower talcum powder products for feminine hygiene and were diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
More than 5,000 women across the United States have filed lawsuits against Johnson & Johnson for failing to warn women about the increased risk for ovarian cancer linked to use of its talcum powder products. So far, juries have awarded more than $700 million to injured women and stated that the manufacturer was at fault.
TaKeena and one of her clients recently spoke with RTV6 about a landmark $417 million verdict recently awarded to a woman in California.
