Teacher, Conductor Julian Wachner Arrested in Indianapolis on Child Exploitation Charges
Recent allegations of child porn, exploitation prompt teacher's arrest
CohenMalad, LLP is actively investigating new sexual misconduct-related allegations associated with teacher, composer and conductor Julian Wachner.
Authorities have preliminarily alleged that Wachner engaged in child exploitation and child pornography. A report made in early August 2025 prompted law enforcement's involvement, and his eventual arrest on multiple charges.
Wachner was employed as a 4th grade math teacher at Invent Learning Hub, a K–8 charter school in Indianapolis at the time of his arrest.
In addition to his teaching role, Wachner has worked extensively as a conductor and composer in Indiana, nationally and internationally.
