Autism Therapy Worker Arrested for Alleged Child Sexual Abuse

Alec Hegge, a registered behavior therapist who worked with children with autism at a therapy center in Indiana, has been arrested on multiple charges of child molestation and child solicitation.

According to recent news reports, Hegge is accused of abusing at least one minor and allegedly used his professional role to gain access to vulnerable children. Authorities believe there may be additional victims and have urged others to come forward.
Prior to his arrest, Hegge was employed by Changing Lives Behavior Analysis, Inc. in Anderson. He has since been terminated.
