Snider High School Football Players Hospitalized Following Practice In Extreme Heat

Attorneys are consulting with parents and student athletes after Snider High School football players were left in serious condition following a required practice and scrimmage in extreme heat conditions.
Our team is actively investigating this matter after multiple reports and information received by our office. On August 8-9, players were allegedly forced to perform strenuous training in full gear, without adequate breaks, shade or water. Parents have told us their children experienced heat exhaustion, heat stroke and other serious medical conditions as a result.
A total of 19 students have been hospitalized following the August 9 scrimmage. As of August 15, one student athlete has been transferred to a hospital in Indianapolis for advanced care due to the severity of his condition, while several others remain hospitalized in Fort Wayne.
