[8/14/2024] A recent former wrestling coach at several high schools on the far west side of Indianapolis has been arrested on two counts of child seduction. Hendricks County officers acted on a warrant and took Quinton L. Harris, 27, into custody on August 12, 2024 at his home in Plainfield, Indiana.
Harris has been a wrestling coach at Ben Davis High School (Wayne Township) from 2019-2024, and was purportedly a frequent substitute teacher at the school as well. He also coached wrestling at Cascade High School (Liberty Township) from 2021-2023. Numerous news organizations state that both school systems ran background checks on Harris prior to and during employment, with “no issues of concern” flagged.
Harris was released from jail on $3,500 bond on August 14. He has retained the services of Indianapolis law firm Razumich & Associates.
