The Indiana Department of Transportation’s withdrawal of an eminent domain claim over Wilson Farm Market (Hamilton County) was extremely well received and decidedly uncommon. Landowners have little recourse when some/all of their property is taken through eminent domain, but they are entitled to “just” compensation.
