BP Contaminated Gas Settlement Claim Deadline Approaching
Consumers who purchased contaminated gasoline in August 2012 that was later recalled by BP Products North America, Inc. may be eligible to submit a claim as part of a $7 million class action settlement reached with BP earlier this year. Claims must be received by January 27, 2014, from class members who had damages caused by contaminated gasoline sold at more than 575 retail outlets in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio. The tainted gasoline caused engine problems including damage to fuel systems.
